Prime Video has announced Nice To Not Meet You,  a new K-rom-com starring Lee Jung-jae and Lim Ji-yeon. The streamer has been adding more and more Korean television series over the last two years. With Heart Over Heels and Goodboy this year, the platform is showcasing just how diverse their K-dramas are.

While Americans know Lee Jung-jae from his work on Netflix’s Squid Game, Lee is a prolific actor, both from playing critically acclaimed film roles and beginning his directorial career with 2022’s Hunt. And actress Lim Ji-yeon matches his notoriety, having starred in Netflix’s The Glory, the erotic thriller Obsessed, and last year’s revenge thriller Revolver.

Nice To Not Meet You blends behind-the-scenes satire of the entertainment industry with a heartfelt romance. It follows Lim Hyeon-jun (Lee Jung-jae), an actor typecast in a popular detective series, who longs to branch out into more serious roles. His path crosses with Wi Jeong-sin (Lim Ji-yeon), an award-winning political journalist who is unexpectedly reassigned to the entertainment desk. Their initial clash of personalities evolves into a story filled with humor and unexpected chemistry.
