Devolver Digital and Massive Monster have announced Woolhaven, the first major paid expansion for their acclaimed cult simulator Cult of the Lamb. The expansion was revealed during Opening Night Live at Gamescom 2025 and will bring new content and features to the game.
Wowing players with its adorable aesthetic and approach to horror, satire, and a pretty heavy subject matter, Cult of the Lamb has gone beyond just a sim and landed in comic books and even custom controllers. But with Woolhaven, Massive Monster doesn’t just get to expand on their story, but also showcase an entirely different aesthetic that comes with the new bluer color palette.

What is Woolhaven about?
In Woolhaven, a lost God calls to you from a mysterious mountain, asking you to rebuild the flock and reawaken winter. As the Lamb, you must face the past to uncover the truth of the fallen lambs and restore the power of Yngya, the forgotten God of the lambs.
But it’s this line from the press release that sticks out: “Every soul redeemed on the mountain defiles it further, threatening all of The Lands of the Old Faith. Can you undo the sins of the past?”

Woolhaven DLC Features
- Discover Woolhaven: Return lost souls to their spiritual home and learn the long-forgotten history of lambkind. Rebuild the fallen town and reclaim the mountain.
- Endure Harsh Weather: Your cult will face blizzards and freezing temperatures. You must build new structures to keep your followers warm and protect them from frostbite and famine.
- Ranching: Unlock ranching at your cult’s base to breed rare animals for warmth, wool, and meat. You can also tame and ride these creatures.
- New Dungeons: Venture into a new realm battered by bitter storms and battle through two new dungeons filled with creatures corrupted by the Rot.
What is the Cult of the Lamb DLC release date?
We unfortunately don’t have a concrete release date yet, but we do have a release window. Cult of the Lamb: Woolhaven will release in early 2026 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
