Vladimir Series at Netflix Adds Key Cast Members Including Jessica Henwick

Netflix announced today that John Slattery, Jessica Henwick, Ellen Robertson, Kayli Carter, Miriam Silverman, Mallori Johnson, Matt Walsh, Tattiawna Jones, and Louise Lambert have joined the cast of Vladimir, a new eight-episode limited series. They join previously announced Rachel Weisz, who will star in and executive produce the series, and Leo Woodall, who will play the role of Vladimir.

The Netflix Original series, adapted from Julia May Jonas’s acclaimed novel, stars and is executive-produced by Rachel Weisz. The series will explore a woman’s obsession with a new colleague as her life takes an unexpected turn.

The limited series is based on the novel by Julia May Jonas. Vladimir delves into the life of a woman whose world begins to unravel, leading to an intense obsession with a captivating new colleague. The series promises a blend of “sexy secrets, dark humor, and complex characters,” exploring the consequences when an individual is determined to transform fantasies into reality.

Production Details For Netflix’s Vladimir

Julia May Jonas serves as writer, creator, and executive producer for the series. The Oscar-nominated and Emmy-winning team of Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini are set to direct three episodes, including the pilot, and will also serve as executive producers. Executive producers for Merman include Sharon Horgan, Stacy Greenberg, and Kira Carstensen. Jason Winer and Jon Radler are executive producers for Small Dog Picture Company. The studio behind the production is 20th Television.

Vladimir will stream exclusively on Netflix.
