Bluepoch announced that the highly anticipated Reverse: 1999 x Assassin’s Creed collaboration launches worldwide on August 7, 2025. This landmark event, revealed during the first-ever global livestream, introduces legendary Assassins to Reverse: 1999, alongside new stories, gameplay, and a wealth of free rewards.

From playable characters to new story elements and cosmetics, there is a lot to be excited about in this collaboration. Additionally, the update also introduces new outfits for beloved Reverse: 1999 characters themed around both Greek mythology and the Assassin’s Creed universe.

Assassin’s Creed Playable Characters

Reverse: 1999 x Assassin's Creed - Kassandra art from Bluepoch

Ezio Auditore da Firenze and Kassandra will be available through special limited-time banners. Alexios joins your team for free simply by completing in-game activities. These characters feature unique combat integrations with Reverse: 1999’s system. Ezio can switch between different weapons, and for her part, Kassandra can alternate between skill trees to adapt to any battle.

Players can look forward to a generous bounty of freebies during the event:

  • Free 5-Star Character: Recruit Alexios
  • Free Monthly Pass: Claim a free monthly pass, netting you 2700 Clear Drops (15 free pulls).
  • Free Outfit: A new outfit for the character APPLe becomes available for no cost
  • Generous Gacha Pulls: Obtain at least 43 free pulls for each collaboration character banner
  • Collaboration Summon Extra Prizes: Ezio and Kassandra banners feature extra rewards, granting an additional copy of the collaboration character after 100, 160, 220, and 280 pulls.

Expanded Assassin’s Creed Collaboration Story Details

Reverse: 1999 x Assassin's Creed - Kassandra art from Bluepoch

According to Bluepoch, the new Reverse: 1999 story will unfold in two phases with this collaboration. In Phase I, Vertin and the team will travel to Renaissance Florence and fight alongside characters from Assassin’s Creed II. The adventure continues in Phase II, as the story shifts to Ancient Greece, where players will team up with the heroes of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey to investigate the Acropolis of Athens and foil a plot by the Cult of Kosmos.
