Junji Ito is everywhere, and you won’t see horror lovers complaining. Crunchyroll has begun a collaboration with the popular multiplayer action horror game Dead by Daylight to bring Junji Ito’s signature style to the game via a collection of skins to The Fog.

Junji Ito has spent almost 40 years creating nightmares for his readers. The master of horror is a world-renowned mangaka who has had fashion collaborations, collabs with Hello Kitty, live-action, and anime adaptations of his work. A new way to enjoy time-honored classics of the genre, the 4-time Eisener Award-winning mangaka is going to be reaching new audiences. With stories that embrace black comedy, body horror, cosmic horror, and more, Ito’s ability to capture tortured souls in print is legendary.

The Junji Ito Dead By Daylight collaboration will capture everything from human marionette puppets through the world on stings to a man able to spit nails from his mouth to the most beautiful girl in the world; these characters are immediately recognizable.

Ito’s collaboration means that yes, Junji Ito has played Dead By Daylight. Ito said, “This time, I had the opportunity to experience playing Dead By Daylight. The characters I created become killers and do some very horrible things in the game. It was very moving to see that they had become even more terrifying characters after leaving my hands.
