Leave nothing but footprints, take nothing but photos, and kill nothing but time. Find peace amongst the rustling shrubbery and chirping creatures of the Amazon rainforest. Embark on a brief five-day camping trip as a butterfly researcher equipped with a notebook and camera, ready to document all of the adorable animals. Explore the winding paths of the jungle, photograph charming critters, befriend new pals, and journal everything along the way!

Capture pictures of flora, fauna, the tracks they leave behind, and more. Take notes on the special qualities of each species encountered. Complete a variety of tasks during both the day and night in a relaxing atmosphere with no pressure. Meet an especially shy Capybara and build an unlikely friendship, investigating her secret and the hidden objectives found throughout the forest.

Complete tasks as quickly as possible for a succinct experience, or enjoy a leisurely adventure through the Amazon. Appreciate the solitude amongst nature’s beautiful creations, with the hushed sounds of rushing water and the sky’s hues flowing into each picture taken, creating the perfect space to traverse and take a breather amongst the evergreen.

“We hope people really enjoy being able to take a brief, tranquil trip to the Amazon with Flutter Away,” said Runaway Play CEO Zoe Hobson. “Making this announcement during Wholesome Direct is such an amazing honor – we hope travelers from all over can enjoy the Amazon Rainforest this August on PC and Nintendo Switch!”

Flutter Away will be available Thursday, August 3, 2023, on PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch with English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Simplified, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, and Korean language support.
