binge-worthy shows — But Why Tho (8)

It’s no surprise that the world is in one of the worst situations that it could possibly be in. As I was walking through the streets of San Francisco before writing this article, fear and desperation could be felt in the air. What were once buys streets are now very reminiscent of ghost towns. With a major percentage of the U.S. population taking precautions and staying home during this COVID-19 pandemic, I can imagine that people would very quickly run out of things to do. Given that there’s finally time to watch some binge-worthy shows, I felt the need to provide some recommendations on what shows to watch.

Compiling this list was a lot more difficult than I expected. I didn’t want to include shows that would automatically increase people’s worry but I also didn’t want to include shows that would lose their interest immediately. With the age of streaming websites being more prominent than ever, find the correct balance of shows was something I knew I could do. I chose to include sitcoms, police procedurals, medical dramas, and action shows. All of these binge-worthy shows that have gotten me through several situations and ones that I wholeheartedly recommend.

Toast of London

binge-worthy shows — But Why Tho (2)

Cast: Matt Berry, Shazad Latif, and Robert Bathurst.

Steven Toast, an eccentric middle-aged actor with a chequered past, spends more time dealing with his problems off stage than performing on it.

Episode Highlight: “The Trial”

Brooklyn Nine-Nine

binge-worthy shows — But Why Tho (1)

Cast: Andy Samberg, Stephanie Beatriz, Terry Crews, Melissa Fumero, Joe Lo Truglio, and Andre Braugher.

Episode Highlight: “DWF”

Brooklyn Nine-Nine is streaming on Hulu.

I can’t guess as to how long this situation will be going on but watching a few of these binge-worthy shows will help the time pass by. Some of these shows have much longer seasons while the others are rather shorter. There’s a variety of content to choose from when selecting one of these binge-worthy shows. I hope that these shows offer some sort of comfort during these trying times, or at least sever as a distraction from everything that’s going on.
