DC Comics offered an exclusive preview of the upcoming House of Whispers #17. The issue, which has a mature rating, is written by Nalo Hopkinson and Dan Watters, with art by Dominike “Domo” Stanton. The issue follows Poquita confrontation with her abusive family where she finally found the strength to stand up to them.

Now, young Poquita has fled the abusive foster family that’s held her hostage…but in an abandoned refugee prison on the southern border, she’ll find that her traveling companion is not the kindly, grateful kitten she started the journey with. House of Whispers #17 is part of the Sandman Universe which also includes the critically acclaimed series Lucifer and Books of Magic.
