Dino Path Trail Is Officially Out Now On Steam

After more than three years of development, Dino Path Trail is finally out on Steam. Developed by indie studio Void Pointer and published by Human Qube, the game throws players into a brutal frontier where dinosaurs never went extinct and the Wild West never died.

In August 2021, a group of young dreamers founded Void Pointer, driven by a shared vision for the Italian game industry. United by passion and professionalism, they embarked on their greatest journey: bringing Dino Path Trail to life. Through challenges, late-night discussions, and breakthroughs, their commitment never wavered – this is more than a game; it’s the adventure of a team that dares to create.

No one is more excited about the game’s release than the developers, who commented: “What started as a passion project is now a fully-fledged game fueled by sweat, survival, and a stubborn refusal to quit. We spent over 3 years building Dino Path Trail – not just as a game, but as a world. Every zone, enemy, and mechanic was crafted with care. It’s surreal to finally share it.”

What is Dino Path Trail about?

You play as Lucy, a gunslinger searching for her kidnapped sister in a land overrun by both dinosaurs and outlaws. The world is made of procedurally generated zones – deserts, swamps, frozen peaks – with unpredictable enemies, scarce resources, and rising threats the longer you survive. Between runs, you’ll uncover a deeper story – including why Lucy keeps coming back after death.

Key Features to Expect in Dino Path Trail:

Survival Action Roguelike

Scavenge, craft, and fight your way through randomized biomes where danger increases over time. Each biome presents unique threats and rare opportunities, from burning deserts to haunted swamps and frozen peaks. Sub-biomes, hidden routes, and unpredictable enemies keep every run fresh. Survival depends on your every decision. Manage hunger, thirst, and health, or die trying.

Mobile Base Camp

Build and move your dino-pulled camp across the frontier. Upgrade your workbenches, expand your shelter, and try to stay one step ahead of the chaos. It’s not a safe haven, but the closest thing to one. In a world bent on hunting you down, you can only rely on your base camp.

Combat With Consequences

Outlaws, bounty hunters, and predators roam the land. Gunfights get tougher the longer you survive and the more the bounty on you rises. Modify weapons and use elemental ammo to adapt – or get overwhelmed. You don’t want to get caught.

Persistent Progression & Story

Each run reveals more about the world, its characters, and Lucy’s strange connection to the Dino Path. You’ll lose gear between runs, but keep unlocked recipes and discoveries.

Plausible Prehistoric Creatures

The team worked with a real paleontologist to ensure the dinosaurs are believable. There are no giant scaly movie monsters here, just scientifically grounded, deadly creatures in a world that forgot to evolve.

You can check out Dino Path Trail now on Steam.
