Marvel Comics
Ms. Marvel: Beyond the Limit #3 is a compelling issue that continues to put Kamala Khan through the stressful wringer in an intriguing mystery.
Iron Man #17 is part of an enormous single arc, so to keep the reader hanging on every word still is an incredible achievement.
Carnage Forever #1 delivers a pair of stories about the now hostless symbiote as it discovers what it can do on its own.
Ghost Rider #1 kicks off a slow burning horror mystery that also doubles as a celebration of the hell-powered hero’s 50th anniversary.
Iron Fist #1 starts a new era. The past and the future are combined as Danny Rand encounters someone who calls themselves the Iron Fist.
X Lives of Wolverine #3 takes a drastic turn in its narrative, as Omega Red goes to desperate measures to get his revenge on Wolverine.
Hulk #4 pits Bruce Banner against the horrors of a gamma-irradiated Earth while continuing the creative team’s penchant for carnage.
Devil’s Reign: Superior Four #2 is much improved. The plot is easier to understand and the characters endear the reader to the narcissist.
Venom #5 deepens the lore of the Symbiotes but undercuts the ongoing story in the process, leading to a mixed return for Al Ewing.
Marvel’s Voices: Legacy (2022) #1 is a solid celebration of the House of Idea’s Black heroes, though it could have involved more creators.
