Today, XSEED Games, the independent-minded publishing brand of Marvelous USA, Inc., announced the release of the second wave of ‘Expansion Pass’ DLC for Story Of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town, which launched exclusively on the Nintendo Switch™ system on Mar. 23. The popular farm/life sim game recently hit a sales milestone, reaching 200,000 units sold in North America and becoming the fastest-selling title for the company on a single platform. The second DLC is available now as part of the ‘Expansion Pass’ on the Nintendo eShop, priced at $19.99, or as part of the ‘Expansion Pass Set,’ including the base game priced at $69.99. It is not sold separately.
Story Of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town is a brand-new adventure that drops eager explorers in Olive Town, a charming seaside community on the edge of the untamed frontier, where they will work on breathing life back into their grandfather’s dilapidated farm. Though it may at first appear to be a sleepy burg, Olive Town is home to dozens of unique characters to befriend when players are ready to take a break from building their dream farm— a dream farm where further exploration of the farm can yield magical lands where seasons never change, an island in the sky and even a unicorn to ride!
The breeze is always pleasant in a brand-new area to explore with the ‘Windswept Falls Expansion Pack.’ Old friends Dunhill, Felicia, Hina, and Neil return from a past Nintendo 3DS™ entry in the series, with Felicia and Neil available as new marriage candidates. Studious farmers & marriage candidates can also now expand their wardrobe with the ‘School Uniforms’ set.
Expansion Pass Part 2 Content comes with:
- ‘Windswept Falls Expansion Pack’
- New area to visit
- Four characters from previous 3DS entry in series, including two marriage candidates
- ‘School Uniform’ costumes for the protagonists
- ’School Uniform’ costumes for the 10 marriage candidates for base game characters only
