Virtual Crunchyroll Expo, the digital take on Crunchyroll’s yearly flagship convention, has opened registrations and launched submissions for various fan components of the show. The event will transport guests back to New Crunchy City on August 5-7 with exciting guest panels, exclusive world premieres, and of course, fun merchandise. While online conventions aren’t exactly the same, Crunchyroll has pulled out all the stops to bring the anime community together, and bring the convention experience to your home. Last year’s Virtual Crunchyroll Expo brought exclusive episode previews, panels, and interviews with fan-favorite voice actors.
Registration for V-CRX 2021 is free and now open at expo.crunchyroll.com. If guests register by April 30 they will receive exclusive backgrounds for desktops, mobile, and Zoom! They will also qualify for all future exclusive digital pre-show prize packs to come. V-CRX has also opened submissions for fan panels, entries for Crunchyroll-Hime’s Cosplay Cup, and Artists’ Alley! Fan panel submissions close on Friday, June 11, entries for the Cosplay Cup are due on Sunday, June 6, and submissions for Artists’ Alley are due on Friday, May 7.
Virtual Crunchyroll Expo brings together the global anime community to celebrate the best and brightest in Japanese animation. The event will be streaming from August 5-7 only on expo.crunchyroll.com.
