Ubisoft announced that Just Dance 2021 will release on November 12, 2020 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia. The game will also release on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 after consoles launch. Just Dance is the worldwide entertainment dancing phenomenon with more than 135 million players around the world and over 70 million units sold.
The 2021 edition of the game features over 40 new songs and universes, as well as a new quickplay mode that will have a randomized playlist ready to go right from the Start menu. Just Dance 2021 has also improved the World Dance Floor, making it easier to challenge other players from all over the world during permanent tournaments. The game will match you with players of a similar level as yours to ensure the battle is as fair as possible.
Classic game modes will also return, including Sweat Mode, Kids Mode, Co-op Mode, and Just Dance Unlimited. Sweat Mode focuses on exercise and tracking the calories you burn by dancing, whereas Kids Mode is tailor-made for the needs of younger player so they can enjoy kid-friendly songs and choreography. Co-op Mode lets you team up with your friends, combining scores to rule the dance floor together. Just Dance Unlimited is a subscription-based streaming service that includes over 550 songs. New and exclusive songs are added throughout the year. Every copy of Just Dance 2021 comes with one month of free access to Just Dance Unlimited.
The first set of songs revealed for Just Dance 2021 are “Señorita” by Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello, “Dance Monkey” by Tones And I, “Que Tire Pa Lante” by Daddy Yankee, “Don’t Start Now” by Dua Lipa, “Temperature” by Sean Paul, “Feel Special” by TWICE, “Juice” by Lizzo, “all the good girls go to hell” by Billie Eilish, “In the Navy” by the Sunlight Shakers, “Zenit” by ONUKA, and “Heat Seeker” by DREAMERS.
Additionally, the Just Dance Controller App, which makes the game more accessible for current-gen owners with its phone-scoring technology, is available on all platforms. The app allows up to six players to dance without any additional accessories. It’s available for free on iOS and Android.
