DCeased: Dead Planet #1

DCeased: Dead Planet #1 Third Printing will feature a recolored version of the original cover art by David Finch and minimal trade dress, and reprints the story written by Tom Taylor with art by Trevor Hairsine, Stefano Gaudiano, and Gigi Baldissini. Issues one and two of DCeased: Dead Planet are also available now through ComiXology using our affiliate link.

And one of the hottest series of the summer, Dark Nights: Death Metal marks the return of the bestselling team of writer Scott Snyder and artist Greg Capullo—and with the first issue of this miniseries sold out and demand from readers growing with each issue, DC announces a new printing coming to comics shops August 11.

Snyder recently spoke to our editor in chief Kate Sanchéz about Wonder Woman’s role in the new series. He said, “What it’s really about deep down — if the first one [Metal] was really inward-looking, this one [Death Metal] is outward-looking. This one was supposed to be about how right now, everything is kind of divisive in comics. Everything is siloed and a lot of it is our fault…It’s a cacophonous thing and it was already becoming that back in 2016 [when Metal came out]. And the idea back then was to have Wonder Woman set it all straight.”

Dark Nights: Death Metal #1 Second Printing will feature a recolored version of the original cover by Greg Capullo, on card stock but without foil stamping. The series first and second issues are available now through digital retailers including ComiXology using our affiliate link.
