It’s coming… The final showdown between Batman and The Joker explodes in Batman #95, part one of “Joker War,” on sale Tuesday, July 21! DC Comics offered a first look at some fantastic art by Jorge Jimenez and Tomeu Morey.
The Designer finally reveals his master plan and how he attempted to bring the underworld together to rule over Gotham after murdering Batman and Robin. After facing down the Designer, Batman reveals the dastardly villain’s true identity leading straight into an even more deadly encounter, proving that it was always going to come to this.
Now, the Clown Prince of Crime and the Dark Knight Detective go head-to-head for the last time. The Joker has never wanted to win before, he’s never wanted his battle with Batman to end, but now his motivation has shifted. He has decided that one way or another, this will be the final chapter to their story. “Joker War” begins here!
Batman #95 (“Joker War,” Part One) hits comic book stores and digital retailers including ComiXology using our affiliate link on July 21, 2020. The issue is written by James Tynion IV, with art by Jorge Jimenez, colors by Tomeu Morey, and letters by Clayton Cowles. It features a main cover by Jimenez and Morey as well as a Joker variant cover by Francesco Mattina.
