Dark Nights: Death Metal #2

Dark Nights: Death Metal #1 rocked readers with its release on Tuesday. The series started off with a bang featuring a chainsaw-wielding Wonder Woman, a robot dinosaur with the consciousness of Batman, and zombie soldiers. But nothing in the debut chapter of this summer’s biggest, boldest event comic compares to the quiet, chilling beginning to the Robin King’s reign! Debuting in Dark Nights: Death Metal #2, once a mere groblin but destined to be so much more (*read Dark Nights: Metal for more about the Batman Who Laughs’ crowing little robin goblins), the Robin King is one of Scott Snyder’s most frightening creations.

Dark Nights: Death Metal so far has been nonsensical and convoluted making it the perfect read for DC fans hoping to get lost in this thrill ride of series. With issue one’s dramatic conclusion, this first look at the Robin King offers more questions than answers. Early today DC Comics also gave a first look at the upcoming covers and some of the interiors of Dark Nights: Death Metal #2.
